This is the scene for an animatic I did. I adore Pokemon, and always wished that you could find the starters in the wild, even if they were as rare as shinies.

(PS: Pokemon is a licensed franchise of Nintendo.)

A matte painting which I also did as a pallete study. Using only the utmost necessary colors.

Interestingly, it came out more vivid than the original.
